A Trip Down Memory Lane: White House Christmas 2010

The White House holiday theme for 2010 was “The Simple Gifts”, which celebrated the ‘simple’ things in life that we often overlook. The First Lady wanted to highlight the states with the theme for the Blue Room Tree, as noted by the White House “The Blue Room tree had a specific theme within the overall theme – “Gift of the American Spirit.” It honored state and county fairs and featured prize ribbons from each state and territory.
