First Lady Michelle Obama on the Cover of the April Edition of Vogue Magazine

First Lady Michelle made her second appearance as a Vogue magazine cover girl. Showing off her bangs, wispy layered haircut and toned arms, Mrs. Obama was chic and regal in a blue and plum colored Reed Krakoff dress which is a part of her personal wardrobe. She last appeared on the cover of Vogue’s March 2009 issue in a sleeveless magenta dress by now famous designer Jason Wu.

The First Lady spoke very candidly about her life in the White House, her relationship with the President and how their children and family are their number one priority (as they should be). Author Jonathan Van Meter described the President and First lady as “exemplars of a new paradigm — the super-involved parenting team for whom being equally engaged in the minutiae of their children’s lives is paramount.”

In a cute First Couple moment, POTUS said of his wife: “Michelle’s like Beyoncé in that song, ‘Let me upgrade ya!’ She upgraded me.”

The April issue hits newstands on March 26th – make sure you get yours!
