One of the original Kings of Comedy (or Kangs of Comedy, if you will) turned host of his own talk show, Steve Harvey has been making major moves these days including the biggest deal of them all – a one on one interview at the White House with President Obama. In what Harvey describes as a “man to man” interview, the Family Feud and host of the Steve Harvey Morning Show made it a point to stray away from the typical political questions. Instead they chatted about family, fatherhood, holiday plans and Sasha & Malia dating.
Harvey sat down with Pat Muse and had this to say of his interview with POTUS:
“The greatest moment in that interview for me was he was talking about his grandmother, who he misses so,” Harvey said. “She passed in her eighties and my mom passed in her eighties.
“And I said to the president, ‘I heard a rumor that your mother and my mother had met, and they are on the front row watching us right now. And that was a pretty cool moment.”
Steve Harvey spoke with the First Lady earlier this year, this is his first in person interview with the President. The full interview will air on the Steve Harvey Show, Friday December 20th. Check your local listings for times.
